The AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, INC. is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for private gain of any person. It is organized under Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. The Sciences of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SOTCM) is the first international journal which emphasizes especially the popularity of traditional Chinese medicine, including herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, tuina (Chinese massage, Chinese manual therapy) and Qigong (Chikung) knowledge.

The AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, INC. publishes online articles almost daily. These online publications serve an educational purpose for both the members of our organizations and the public. Our team, along with our volunteers, is dedicated to providing relevant and informational publications. At the present time, we are experiencing a financial shortage; we need to funds to continue to run our organization, such as transportation, webpage maintenance, rent, and printing. We need volunteers to support our organization; duties include website editing and maintenance, paper revisions, data entry, typesetting, and other clerical duties. All donations are tax deductible and all volunteer hours count towards volunteer credits.

The Sciences of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SOTCM) is the first international journal which emphasizes the popularity of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. We publish two editions, the General and Professional Editions.  The General Edition has been published since January 1995 while the Professional Edition has been published since August 1996. The SOTCM primarily disseminates this knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine for the purposes of improving the health of all people. Presently, the General Edition is published monthly; while the Professional Edition is published annually.

      The Sciences of Traditional Chinese Medicine is sponsored by the American Institute of Traditional Medicine.  The American Institute of Traditional Medicine is a non-profit organization that fully supports the development of TCM. We have had financial difficulty for years; please make a contribution check, credit card, or cash to support this non-profit organization. The tax exemption number is 95-4551980.

What is the AmazonSmile Foundation

The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. All amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.

How does AmazonSmile work?

When you shop at smile.amazon.com, Amazon donates. When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization; please select American Institute of Traditional Medicine, Inc.
